The graveyard is near the front entrance of the yard and home of S. S. Gregory. On the west side of the road. Pittsylvania Co., Virginia DATE: 1835. OWNERS: Jeremiah Terry 18---1836 John Jones 1836-18—- Mary Jones Gregory 18---1889 James W. Gregory 1889-1912 S.S. Gregory and mother Sallie Gregory 1912-1937 DESCRIPTION: This graveyard is enclosed partly with a rock wall and partly with an iron fence. That is the oldest graves have the rock wall and the latest graves the iron fence. The graveyard is in a fair condition. The oldest graves are very much sunken and slabs partly fallen. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Sacred to the memory of Jeremiah Terry who was born 16th July 1774 and departed this life July 21st 1837 63 years of age Far from affliction, toil and care, The happy soul is fled The breathless clay shall slumber here among the silent dead. Frances Terry wife of Jeremiah Terry Born 24th May 1786 departed this life 6th April 1835 in the 49th year of her age Far from this world of woe Her spotless soul is gone Her Saviour called her from below To her eternal home. In memory of Lewis Gregory Born Mar. 13, 1804 Died May 8, 1866 In memory of Mary B. Gregory Born Aug. 17, 1807 Died July 16, 1889 James W.
