INDENTURE BETWEEN HENRY & ELIZABETH BURNETT TO GILBERT BURNETT PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY, VIRGINIA COURTHOUSE Dated: 21 Nov. 1780 Deed Book 6 page 69 This Indenture made this 21st. day of November One thousand Seven Hundred and Eighty Between HENRY BURNETT of the one part and GILBERT BURNETT of the other part Witnesseth that the said HENRY BURNETT doth hereby Acknowledge he the said HENRY BURNETT hath Grant & Alined and confirmed and by these Presents doth Grant Aline and confirm unto the said GILBERT BURNETT and his Heirs and assignes forever a Certain Track or Parcel of Land Lying on Sugar Tree Creek Containing Ninety Six Acres be the Same more or Less Lying and being in the County of Pittsylvania and bounded as follows, Viz, Beginning at white Oak thence South ninety eight East two Hundred poles to a red Oak North fifty four East Eighty poles to Pointers North Sixteen West ninety five poles to a red Oak North forty four west sixty four poles crossing Sugar Tree Creek to a red Oak North Sixty three West twenty nine poles to a red Oak North Eighteen West One Hundred and Twenty two poles to Pointers South fifty west Eighteen poles to black Oak South twenty two West Eighty four poles to the first _____________ to have and to hold all and singular the said tract or parcel of land with all buildings woods and or woods Cleared Grounds way & paths water watercourses Easements profits Commodityies Hired teaments and Advantages now unto Belonging or in any wise apperetaining to the Said Land and also the revision and reversions reminders and remaind viz rents and Services of the Said Premises and Survey part thereof and the Estate right title Interest Drain or Drain and whatsoever of him the Said HENRY BURNETT and ELIZABETH the wife of in or both Said Land and premises above mentioned and every part and Parcel thereof with their appertaining unto the Said GILBERT BURNETT and his Heirs and assignes the Said Land and Premises and every part thereof against them the Said HENRY BURNETT and ELIZABETH his wife their Heirs and assignes and against all and every other person or persons whatsoever to the Said GILBERT BURNETT his Heirs and assignes the all ___________ will warrant and forever Defend by these Presents In Witnesses whereof we Here unto Set our Hands and Seals the Day and year first above mentioned Signed Sealed and Delivered In Presents of Sam'l Shuloss Tho's.
