Pittsylvania County, Virginia, Military:  Barton T. Reynolds
Pittsylvania County Court, November Term 1878

The Court doth certify that Barton T. Reynolds is a citzen of this State, that
he was wonded in battle during the late war in the right forearm in such manner
as to prevent the use of his right hand in manual labor, the Court doth certify
that one of the witnesses examined in this matter was a practising Physician 
who proved the nature and extent of th injuries sustained as aforesaid by the
Applicant.  The Court doth certify that at the time the wound was received the
said Barton T Reynolds was a citizen of this State and that he has never
received an artificial limb or commutation therefor under any of the laws of
this State or of the United States

Assembly approved February 14, 1882.
