Regiment, F.K.? Company (these were initials of colonel and Captain of superior officers. Nat Terry and unreadable name were comrades in war. I, T. W. Evans, Justice of Peace in and for the County of Pittsylvania do certify that Sallie F. Abbott, whose name is signed to the foregoing application, personally appeared before me in my county, and, having the said application fully read and explained to him, as well as the statements and answers therein made,she the said Sallie F.
