MARRIED DEC. 26, 1896 by Rev. T. W. Waller , husband died on June 13, 1910 of 
old age.
PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY, VA (BLEURIS)
Member of: Pickett's Division, Capt. Cabell

     I, S. S. Hurt, Clerk of the County Court for the County of Pittsylvania  do 
certify that Bettie  M. Ashby whose name is signed to the foregoing application, 
personally appeared before me in my county, and, having the said application 
fully read and explained to her, as well as the statements and answers therein 
made, she the said Bettie Ashby made oath before me that said statements and 
answers are true.  Given under my hand this 8th day of  March, 1932.
