widow of Eliahu H. Adams, died of consumption in March 1894, married by John B. Hardwick on Dec. 6, 1858: 
resided with John D. Owen Pittsylvania County, Virginia
Member of: Ben Notley's Co. of Danville

I, J.  C. Shelton , Clerk of the County Court for the County of Pittsylvania  do 
certify that Mary A. Adams,whose name is signed to the foregoing application, 
personally appeared before me in my county, and, having the said application 
fully read and explained to him, as well as the statements and answers therein 
made, she the said Mary A. Adams made oath before me that said statements and 
answers are true.  Given under my hand this 15th day of August, 1902.
