Norton and Col Hadnett Enlisted March 10, 1862 in Lynchburg, VA and was captured at Runther Farm April 6, 1865--returned at Newport News, VA on July 1, 1865. Comrades: Fletcher B. Watson, Lee Arthur Application for pension approved by Scott Carter, Chm. of Pension Board and Judge of the Court, E. J. Harvey who estimated value of Allen's property at $1360. Received $50 dollars yearly.
