WIDOW OF A DECEASED SOLDIER, SAILOR OR MARINE FOR A PENSION. 

Name: Manerva J. Edwards, age 77 of 1921?, resided with her son, C. C. Edwards, 
widow of Wm. A. Edwards, married Dec. 30, 1859 by Rev. John Gluck?. Husband died 
in 1918 of  old age and cancer of  the stomach

Pittsylvania County, Va (Mt. Airy)

Member of: Capt. Clutters ?  Co. Va Light Artillery, (formerly Capt. Motley's 
Co.), enlisted March 10, 1862.  Union prisoners of war records show him 
surrendered and paroled at Appomattox Court House, April 9, 1865.
