Ben Motley, Discharged at Appomattox on April 9, 1865 ****Records of Jere Fackler were not easily found by military; after many tries, the VA Office of Military records responded as such: The records in this office show that Jeremiah Fackler was a private in Co. H, 38th VA Regt. --Captains Terry Covington--____, and Poindexter. He enlisted in 1861--A certain Jerry Fackler is recorded as a Member of Co. D? or F?
