In Nov.1862, promoted to 1st Lt. in June 1862, then Captain on May 11, 1864: captured at Dinwiddie courthouse Apr. 1, 1865, subscribed to oath of allegiangce at Johnson's Island, Ohio, June 16,1865 and released same day.
