Moorman State of Virginia, County of Pittsylvania to wit: G. W. Hundley, personally appeared before me S. B. Haley, JP for the county aforesaid and made oath to the folling statement: I, Geo. W. Hundley this to certify that I G. W. Hundley do positively know that T. A. Gregroy was a soldier in the confederate army. Sworn to before me this 15 day of August, 1924. S. B. Haley, JP Letter in files to Mr. E. Lee Moore, Richmond Va dated Aug 16, 1924 Dear Sir, I took the sworn statement yesterday of J. S. Gardner and J. W. Hundley but was suffering from tooth ache so did not know what forms I needed.none I suppose. I know Mr. T. A. Gregory and have known him ever sence the war. I know he went to war when the call came for men from 16 sixty and was in service near Danville Va with the 17 year old boys; he had six brothers in the war besides himself and four was killed. I write this because I thought you might not understand the statements I made yesterday.
