NAME:: Martha F. Hines, age 94 as of 1928, resided with Mr. and Mrs. Moris Ramsey, her great grandaughter; widow of Charles Edward Patterson, her first husband and Jack Hines, her second husband. Married in 1850 by Rev. Beverly H. Davis to Patterson who died in the Army at Vicksburg in 1862; Martha married Jack Hines who died about 25 years ago; She lived in TN in 1861 and 1862. Martha claimed pension by virtue of her marriage to Patterson. PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY, VA --Sycamore MEMBER OF: Capt. Bacon and Charlie Lyle, Lt. Another one was listed as Infantry from Jonesboro, TN.
