NAME:: Harriet M. Hodges, age 78 as of 1930, resided at her home with E. D. Reynolds. Widow of Daniel Webster Hankins who died on July 2, 1863. Killed in Battle of Gettysburg. Married to Hodges on Jan. 16, 1862. Married Stephen Yeatts on March 7, 1870 who died on July 5, 1876. Then married J. T. Hodges Dec. 23, 1890 who died on Oct. 9, 1921. Received pension under husband, D. W. Hankins. PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY, VA --Gretna MEMBER OF: Col Addison Witcher's and Sam'l Swanson's Company, Company I, 21st VA. Infantry. Was made Corporal; captured two times, once at Winchester on March 23, 1862 and another at Kernstown in March of 1862. Killed at Gettysburg. Comrades: John H. Cox and D. B. Gardner.
