Name:: Susan Osborne, Age 51 As Of 193o, Resided With Jack Osborne, Her Son, 
Widow Of  John Osborne Who Died Oct. 1916 Of Gallstone And Liver Disease; 
Married On June 2, 1896 At Whittly By Rev. Tom Wood

Letter From R. R. Combs, Pension Clerk Informed Susan That She Did Not Meet 
Requirements Of The Pension Law.  Application Showed That She Was Only 51 Years 
And Was Married In 1896.  Pension Law Requred An Applicant For Confederate 
Pension Was That She Had To Be Under 75 Years Of Age And To Have Been Married 
Prior To Jan. 1st 1890 And That The Board Could Not Approve Her Claim.
