Widow of A DECEASED SOLDIER, SAILOR OR MARINE FOR A PENSION. 

Name and Age: Elizabeth Pruitt, age ninety odd years oldas of  1917, resided 
with Profit Oberon?m Married on May 8, 1852 by Reverend Meck. 

Widow of:Abram Pruitt (this name was on the application as Abram, but in 
correspondence with the Jno H. Johnson, Pension Clerk, Elizabeth confirmed that 
his name was Abel Pruitt) who died about 1870 as a result of wounds in 
Gettsysburg.

Comrades of veteran: J. W. Lewis and ? Slaughter.

Member of: 38th VA Regt. Company D under Col. E. C. Edmonds and Capt. John A
