Widow of A DECEASED SOLDIER, SAILOR OR MARINE FOR A PENSION. 

Name and Age: Octavia C. Pruitt,(Prewitt, Prewett) age 67 as of 1923, married in 
Sept. 1872 by Rev. Ch. Woodring, resided with her daughter.

Widow of:William E. Pruett who died in April 1905 of paralysis.

Comrades of veteran:Jno Swanson and Charles Swanson, both of Danville.

VA town:Schoolfeld, but pension sent to C/O Mayor Harry Woodring, Danville.

Member of: Co. A, 38th VA Infantry under Capt. Herndon and Col. E. C. Edmonds
