Widow of A DECEASED SOLDIER, SAILOR OR MARINE FOR A PENSION. 

Name and Age: Cornelia Elizabeth Rice, age 64 as of 1912, resided with children, 
married in Pittsylvania Co. in 1863 by Rev. Faber.

Widow of: Calvin Reid Rice who died on March 12, 1913 of arterial sclerosis.

Comrades of veteran: C. w. Tyne, sr. and W. B. Dixon? Enlisted July 1, 1864

VA town: Java

Member of: 3rd Company C, 1st VA Artillery which later Became Company C. 1st VA 
Battalion VA Light Artillery, and finally became Capt. N. R. Young's Company, 
Virginia  Artillery which was Company G, known as "Mount Vernon Guards."
