Widow of A DECEASED SOLDIER, SAILOR OR MARINE FOR A PENSION. 

Name and Age: Lydia Lee Walkup, age 68 as of Aug. 8, 1934, resided with her 
sister, Mollie D. Shelton. married on Dec. 24, 1891 in Gretna by Rev. Jas. D. 
Bailey

Widow of: John A. Walkup, enlisted Aug. 28, 1861 and discharged at Goose Creek 
Sept. 3, 1862 by Conscript Act.  Born in Rock Bridge County, age 57, height 
5'10", complexion light, eyes blue, hair light, farmer.  Died April 14, 1893 at 
66 of heart failure
