Name and Age: Jerre White, age 49 as of 1881, wounded at Gettysburg in July 1863 
by a shot through the left shoulder blade and in right leg from minie ball, 
received $15 pension as approved by J. D. Coles, Judge for Court of Pittsylvania

*****Transcriber was not sure whether Jerre White and Jere White were same 
people as wife said she had never applied before; Nancy listed her husband as 
Jere White, while this showed up on microfilm as one and the same.
