The copy of the marriage of David and Elizabeth Parsons was copied from the original. Donna Thomas Parsons/Sarah Parsons Know all men by these presents that we Thomas Parsons and Samuel Parsons are held and firmly bound unto John Page Esqr Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia in the sum of one hundred fifty dollars to the payment whereof well and truly to be made to the said governor or his successors we bind ourselves our heirs Execs and admrs firmly by these presents sealed with our seals and dated this 25 day of November 1805 the condion of the above obligation is such that whereas there is a marriage depending and shortly intended to be had and solemnized between the above bound Thomas Parsons and Sarah Parsons. If therefore there is no lawful cause to obstruct the said marriage then the above obligation to be void otherwise to remain in full force and virtue. Sealed and Delivered in presence of Wm. P.
