In the Name of God Amen, I Nathaniel Thacker of the County of Pittsylvania though Weak in body, yet through the mercy & Goodness of God; of a Sound and Perfect memory do Constitute this my last, Will & Testament, & desire it to be recorded as Such by all. First I lend unto my Wife Casse, the Plantation & Tract of land adjoining the same Containing One Hundred & fifty acres also four Negroes, Frank Jude, Sam and Moses & all my Stock of Horses Cattele [sic] hogs & sheep also all my household furniture and plantation Tools, during her life, and after her Decease, this plantation together with the One Hundred & fifty acres of land adjoining the same which, I lend, my Wife together with the Orchard, to be equally Divided between my two Daughters Molly Adkins & Lovina Malicoat, and the Negroes Frank Jude Sam & Moses & all the stock of Horses Cattle Sheep Hogs & Household furniture plantation [page break] [p.] 296. plantation tools, &.c lent to my Wife, to be sold at twelve months Credit, by my Executors hereafter named, taking bonds with approved Security, & after, Collected by my Executors to be equally Divided, amongst my Six Children, or their Lawful heirs Betsy, Peter, Joel, Isaac, Molly & Lovina, & all debts by bonds notes or open accompts due me to be Collected by my Execu.rs, as soon as Possible, after my Decease, & after all Lawfull Dem.ds against me are paid, the balance to be Equally divided, amongst, my Six Children or their Heirs before mentioned & my Wife immediately after Collected.
