DESCRIPTION:

Plain marble slab with the following inscription:

In Memory of
Thomas
Infant son of Caleb and Margaret Span
Died March 31st, 1858
Aged 18 months and 28 days
Farewell sweet Thomas, thy little soul hath flown
To dwell forever in a world unknown.
The last link is broken, Thy spirit has fled
And the beautiful form, Now sleeps with the dead.
