Tabb estate Dr. Thomas J. Tabb estate DESCRIPTION: Small slab with following inscription: In Memory of Fletcher Robins Son of M. L. and R. R. Tabb Born Oct. 25, 1853 Died July 23, 1854 Plain marble slab with the following inscription: There’s rest in Heaven Tribute to the memory of Dr. Thomas J. Tabb Born Oct. 17, 1819 Died April 11, 1855 He was loved and esteemed by all who had the pleasure of his acquaintance and his memory will be treasured up in the heart of his friends. Alas that voice is hushed in death Those eyes are closed fore ere He sleeps the long and dreamless sleep That knows no waking here. ‘Tis thus death comes within our bowers And blights our fairest, dearest flowers.
