Funeral services for William R. Harris, of 2 Dewey street, who died October 30
in a local hospital, were held Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 2, at St. Mark Baptist
Church with the pastor, the Rev. T. H. Atkins, officiating.  Interment took
place in Lincoln Cemetery.

Mr. Harris is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lula Harris;  mother, Mrs. Hattie
Wiggins;  stepfather, Harry Wiggins;  two aunts, Mrs. Cora Bell, of Portsmouth,
and Mrs. Mary Murder, of New York, and other relatives.  Arrangements were
handled by Reid’s Funeral Home.
