Norfolk Journal and Guide, Saturday, March 28,1931, pg. A8
William Thomas Springs, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas E. Springs, died at the
residence of his parents, 1310-40th St., March 19,1931, and was laid to rest in
Mount Olive Cemetery, Portsmouth, VA.

Besides his parents, Mr. Springs is survived by three brothers, Charles M.,
Elliott J., and Nelson;  three sisters, Mrs. Lelia Randolph, Misses Ella and
Mildred Springs; and other relatives.

The Twin Brothers Quartette of Lamberts Point sang.  The pall bearers were
William Holly, Eugene Taylor, James Walker, Henry Russell, Junius Carter and
Frank Boyd.
