Portsmouth - Mrs. Alvonia G. Wilson of 943 Mt. Vernon Ave. died August 8 in a
hospital.

A native of Brunswick County, she was the daughter of Tyler and Mrs. Erma
Goodrich and the wife of Eddie Wilson.

She was a member of Mt. Hermon Baptist Templ and Faith Club.

Besides her husband, she is survived by four nieces, Mrs. Louise Singleton of
Lawrenceville, Mrs. Thelma Silver and Mrs. Sophia Williams of Portsmouth, and
Mrs. Florence Moore of Los Angeles; and three nephews, Larry Drumgold of
Portsmouth, Eddie Keys of Lawrenceville, and Eugene Goodrich of Chesapeake.

A funeral service was held August 11 in Mt. Hermon Baptist Temple by the Rev. I.
S. Waters. Burial was in Lincoln Cemetery with Fisher Funeral Home in charge.
