Palmore Cemetery Location: 2.1 miles from Dorset Corner, Virginia on Route #60, thence southeast on Route #610. Powhatan Co., Virginia DATE: 1819, date of oldest grave [marker] OWNERS: [blank] DESCRIPTION: The graveyard is situated a short distance from the old Hobson home. There are only three graves marked, but the graveyard is almost full. Around it is a wide brick wall, broken in some places. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Following are the tombstone inscriptions: In memory of John S. Hobson Born Jan’y 1st 1819 Died Aug. 9th 1851 Richard S. Hobson Son of R.B. and M.H.
