Last Will and Testament
                                    of
                              William Tucker

In the name of God amen I William Tucker of the County of
Powhatan, being of sound mind and memory, do make and constitute
this my last will & testament in manner and form following (to
wit) first it is my desire that my body be decently interred in
the plainest manner, and as to what worldly estate it has pleased
god to bestow on me I dispose of it in manner and form following,
after my just debts paid. I give and bequeath my whole estate
both real and personal of every kind and description to my four
children (to with) Elizabeth Tucker (altho' not born in wedlock)
Judith Boulton Tucker, Charles Tucker, and William Tucker and
their heirs forever, and should either of my daughters marry and
died, leaving no heir; then it is my will and desire that the
estate given to them or either of them revert to my other
surviving children their heirs and legal representatives forever.
And whereas my wife being now with child and being conscious that
it is not mine; and should it be borne alive, I do by this my
last will and testament disinherit it, or any other child, or
children that my be born of my wife Sally Tucker hereafter. I do
hereby appoint my brother James Tucker, and my relation
Littleberry Tucker guardians to my said children, hereby most
earnestly requesting them to see them brought up in a christian
like manner, and that as soon as my brother James Tucker shall
think my sons sufficiently taught for such business as suits
their capacities, that he bind them to it. And lastly, I do
hereby appoint my brother James Tucker, and my relation
Littleberry Tucker, executors to this my last Will and testament,
hereby revoking all wills heretofore made by me. In witness
whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this
twenty second day of August, in the year of our lord, one
thousand eight hundred and seven. Signed by Wm. Tucker, Senr.,
and witnessed by William Pope, Anson Tally, and Anderson Tucker.

At a court held for Powhatan County the 16th day of November
1808. This last Will & Testament was presented in court and
proven by the oaths of William Pope Anson Tally and Anderson
Tucker three of the subscribing witnesses thereto, and ordered to
be recorded. And on the motion of James Tucker one of the
executors named, certificate is granted him for obtaining 
probat thereof in due form he having made oath and entered into
bond with security as the law directs and liberty is reserved
the other executor to qualify when he thinks fits.
