Cemetery Location:  1.6 miles west of Prospect, Virginia, on Route #626; thence 
                    1.2 miles north on private road; thence east on private road 
                    .4 mile.  Cemetery on the south side of the road.
                    Prince Edward Co., Virginia


DATE:

1829, date of oldest grave [marker]

OWNERS:

Property now owned by Mr. Sidney Gilliaure. [1937]
The Glenn heirs reserve rights to the cemetery.

DESCRIPTION:

The cemetery is located on the edge of a large body of pine trees.  There is a 
fence on one side of the cemetery.  There are only about a dozen graves and only 
a few with markers.  The others have old field stones at the head and foot.

HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE:

Mrs. M. H.  Glenn
Died May 17th, 1829
in the 35th year of her age


In memory of an infant
Child of J.H. and  E.J. Glenn
Died Feby. 17th, 1842
