Cemetery on north side of road. Prince Edward Co., Virginia DATE: 1827, date of oldest grave [marker] OWNERS: Cemetery. DESCRIPTION: The cemetery covers about three square acres, enclosed by an iron fence, with two double and one single iron gate. It is laid off in plots, covered with green grass, lilac bushes and shrubbery and a good many old oak and cedar trees. There are several hundred graves in this cemetery, but very few prior to 1860.
