Prince Edward County, VA - Deed Book 7 Prince Edward County, Virginia Deed Book 7, p. 318 This Indenture made the Eighteenth Day of December One Thousand Seven Hundred and Eighty Six between Daniel Ellington of Prince Edward County of the one part and John Ellington of the same county of the other part, Witnesseth that the said Daniel Ellington for and in consideration of the full and just sum of forty three pounds current money of Virginia to him in hand paid by the said John Ellington the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge hath granted, bargained and sold and by these presents doth grant, bargain and sell unto the said John Ellington one tract of land lying and being in the county of Prince Edward containing eighty six acres and is bounded as follows, Viz: Beginning on the road opposite to Richard Waddills corner red oak Tuplin, thence a new line S 2, W 20 poles to a pine in his own line thence along his line S 26, W 117 poles to the road aforesaid and thence along the said road as it meanders to the first station together with all woods, waters, and water courses thereon to have and to hold the said tract of land and every part and parcel thereof unto the said John Ellington his heirs and assigns forever and the said Daniel Ellington doth for himself and his heirs executors and administrators defend the said John Ellington and his heirs against the claim of any person or persons whatsoever claiming any right to or in the before mentioned land and premises In witness whereof the said Daniel Ellington hath hereto set his hand the day and year above written.
