The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net ************************************************************************ DEED WILSON MEADOR TO WILLIAM ROUTON AMELIA COUNTY, VIRGINIA APRIL COURT 1817 DEED BOOK NUMBER 24 $674.00 Know all men by these presents that I Wilson Meador of Prince Edward County have bargained and sold and by these presents do bargain and sell unto William Routon of the foresaid county all the right title and interest which I the said Wilson Meador have in and to the estate of Benjamin Meador dec'd for and in consideration of the sum of six hundred and seventy four dollars the receipt of which I do hereby acknowledge and do hereby for myself my heirs and covenant and agree to and with the said William Routon his executors and to warrant and defend the right title and interest hereby bargained and sold unto the said William Routon against the lawful claims or demands of all and every other person or persons whatsoever. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this the tenth day of February one thousand eight hundred and seventeen.
