Flippen MAN FATALLY INJURED Dies At Sanatorium. Grant Brown Crushed by Norfolk and Wester Train. In attempting to board a passing freight train on the Norfolk and Western Railway last Friday night, Grant Brown, colored, was thrown to the track and so badly injured that he died in a few hours. Bystanders took the injured man and placed him on a truck and brought him to the office of Dr. Hudgins. After examination by the physician, he was taken to the Whitworth Sanitorium where he died in a few hours. One of his arms was severed and his shoulder crushed so that nothing could be done to save his life. The accident occurred at the passenger station, where Brown expected to take a freight train to Tuggle's , he being employed at that point by the company.
