B.H. Carter Mr. B.H. Carter, a venerable citizen of the county, Died at his home near Rice on Tuesday and was buried on Wednesday afternoon in the Baptist cemetery at Rice. Full of years and full of honor this veteran has fallen from the ranks and joined the majority. His was a quiet life spent on the farm where he labored earnestly, living the life of an honest man and commanding the respect and confidence of all who knew him. He was the good neighbor, the good citizen, a consistent and devoted member of the Baptist Church, the church of his choice and his love. He leaves a widow and a large family of children and a host of friends to mourn and miss him.
