Farmville Herald, March 25,1910
Sallie F. Hunt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E.T. Rice, died from pneumonia Monday 
night of last week.   Member of the Baptist church.  Active there for about 50 
years.  Left a widow early.  Survived by her children, Mrs. James Ashby 
Armistead, Capt. H.H. Hunt, adn Otey L. Hunt.  One sister, Mrs. Dr. Winston 
and two brothers, P.H.C. Rice, and James V. Rice.  Father is deceased and 
mother is 93 years old.  Funeral was on Wed at 4pm conducted by Baptist 
pastor, Rev. H.M. Fugate, and Methodist minister, Rev. W.T. Green.  Burial in 
the town cemetery.
