Hamlin Cemetery Location: 3 miles south of Petersburg, Virginia, on Route #654; thence 2 miles east on Route #607; thence 500 yards south on private road. Prince George Co., Virginia DATE: There are no tombstones and the exact dates these deaths occurred are unknown, but Jerry Aldridge, who is buried here, owned the land in 1800. OWNERS: This graveyard is on the property now belonging to Marvin Goodrich, 140 Marshall St., Petersburg, Virginia. [1937] DESCRIPTION: It is about ten feet square and is grown up with bushes and pine trees. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Mr. Kit Aldridge, who is ninety-two years old says that the following of his relatives are buried here, but he can not remember the dates: Jerry Aldridge James Aldridge Rosina Aldridge Harvey Aldridge SOURCES OF INFORMATION: Informant: Mr. Kit Aldridge, Route 2, Petersburg, Virginia.
