Cemetery Location:  5.5 miles east of Prince George, Virginia, on Highway #37; 
                    thence .1 mile south of Route #37.
                    Prince George Co., Virginia

OWNERS:

This property was bought by George Everette Cummings Sr., from Charles F. 
Collier, on April 8, 1851.  By the will of George E. Cummings, Sr., it was 
inherited by his son George E. Cummings, Jr. by his will, dated April 9, 1895, 
it was inherited by his widow Elizabeth (Betty) Williams Cummings.  It is now 
the property of Mrs. Elizabeth Cummings and her children. [1937]

DESCRIPTION:

This graveyard is located about two hundred yards south of the “Marl Hill” home, 
in an open field.  It is surrounded by a wire fence and kept in very good 
condition.  There is a growth of poplar and cedar trees in and around the 
square.  There are no markers to represent the graves.

James Cummings
George Everette Cummings, Jr. on April 13, 1913

George Everette Cummings
his wife Elizabeth (Betty)
John Richard Cummings July 31, 1875 – June 27, 1877
Mary Elizabeth Cummings July 21, 1881 – Nov. 14, 1911
(Mary was the wife of James Henry Newcomb)
