Cemetery Location:  6 miles southeast of Disputanta, Virginia, on Route #627, 
                    about .2 mile west of Route #627.
                    Prince George Co., Virginia

OWNERS:

This graveyard is located on the estate that was owned by Allen Temple in 1799, 
by his will dated March 15, 1839 and probated November 15, 1839, he left the 
estate to his widow Mary G. Temple.  By the will of Mary G. Temple dated 
February 4, 1869 probated May 1872, this estate was given to her daughter Mary 
E. who married Horatius Rudder.  Mary Rosa Grey Rudder inherited the estate from 
her mother, Mary E. Rudder.  By will of Mary Rosa G. Rudder dated May 2, 1871 
and probated on July 13, 1891, the estate was given to her Aunt, Emily Wiseman 
Tyler Temple Gee (wife of William Gee).  By the will of Emily W.T.T. Gee, dated 
June 11, 1875, probated on January 13, 1876 the estate was inherited by her son 
Edmunds Gee.  It is now the property of Edmund Gee’s estate.

DESCRIPTION:

This graveyard is a plot of ground about fifty feet square, located in a pine 
forest.  It is heavily covered with periwinkle and honeysuckle and has a growth 
of pine, cedar and holly trees in it.  There is one marble headstone, which is 
two and one half feet high and a small footstone.  There are four very decidedly 
sunken spots which indicate graves were there, but the rest of the lot is 
practically level.

SACRED to the memory of
Mrs. Mary Lloyd
wife of John Lloyd
who departed this life on the 24th day of May 1816
in the 25th year of her age
who left a disconsolate husband & infant child to lament her irreparable loss.
