Hamlin Cemetery Location: 10 miles south of Petersburg, Virginia, on Route #301; thence 1.8 miles east on Route #621; thence 1.8 miles east on Route #638; thence fifty feet north of Route #638. Prince George County, Virginia DATE: Approximate date 1840-1865. OWNERS: John Kanusek --- to 1937, present owner. [1937] DESCRIPTION: This graveyard is about fifteen feet square. There are no tombstones, but it is enclosed with a wire fence and the graves are marked by cedar trees. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: It is said that the following are buried here: James M. Rawlings Mrs. Rebecca Ann Rawlings Addie Rawlings Mrs. S.J. Rowland Mrs. Ambrose Mrs. Clark the dates unknown.
