Harrison Cemetery Location: 2.6 miles southwest of Disputanta, Virginia, on Route #616; thence 1.7 miles south on Route #627; thence .2 east of Route #627. Prince George Co., Virginia DATE: 1882, date of oldest grave. [marker] OWNERS: Alexander Scott bought one hundred and twenty-six acres of land from Mrs. Emily W. T. Gee, on January 21, 1874. Ida Eliza Scott inherited her widows dower in the property from her husband Alexander Scott, in the division of his estate, on April 2, 1902. By the will of Ida Eliza Scott, dated November 14, 1925, and probated in Prince George Court on December 15, 1932, the home site was inherited by her son Jefferson Scott, the present owner. [1937] DESCRIPTION: This graveyard is in the edge of a pine forest. The thirty-five graves in it cover a space of about sixty square feet. It is well kept and each grave neatly mounded. In this graveyard there is a scattering growth of pine, cedar and hickory trees. The only marker is a double vertical marble slab, which marks two graves.
