Bond - Guardianship of Joseph Tatum, Orphan
(Bond Book A, page 39, Prince George Co.VA.)

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, That we W.R.Tatum and James T.Washer
are held and firmly bound unto the Commonwealth of Virginia,in the Just
and full sum of One Hundred Dollars, current money of Virginia, to the
payment whereof well and truly to be made,we bind ourselves, our heirs,
executors and administrators, jointly and severally, firmly by these
presents. Sealed with our seals and dated this 12th day of March A.D.
1868.
THE CONDITION OF THE ABOVE OBLIGATION IS SUCH that if the above bound
W.R.Tatum who has this day been chosen by Joseph Tatum, orphan of Allen
Tatum dec'd as his guardian in the County Court of the County of Prince
George, shall faithfully discharge the duties of his said office or 
trust, then the above obligation to be void, or else to remain in full
force and virtue.

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, That we Robert C.Marks, Peter F.Marks
& Thomas W.Adams are held and firmly bound unto the Commonwealth of
Virginia, in the just and full sum of Four Thousand Dollars, Current
money of Virginia, to the payment whereof well and truly to be made, we
bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators, jointly and
severally, firmly by these presents. Sealed with our seals and dated
this 14th day of July 1870.
THE CONDITION OF THE ABOVE OBLIGATION IS SUCH that if the above bound
Robert C.Marks, who hath been duly appointed guardian to Richard Henry
Marks and Lelia Ann Marks,orphans of Peter C.Marks dec'd. by the County
Court of the County of Prince George, shall faithfully discharge the
duties of his said office or trust, then the above obligation to be 
void, or else to remain in full force and virtue.

are held and firmly bound unto the Commonwealth of Virginia,in the just
and full sum of Ten Dollars, current money of Virginia, to the payment
whereof well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves, our heirs, 
executors and administrators, jointly and severally, firmly by these
presents.Sealed with our seals and dated this 12th day of June A.D.1873.
THE CONDITION OF THE ABOVE OBLIGATION IS SUCH that if the above bound
Davy Brooks who has with the approbation of the Court been chosen as
guardian of Lucy Jones, orphan of Mary Jones dec'd. in the County Court
of the County of Prince George, shall faithfully discharge the duties
of his said office or trust, then the above obligation to be void, or
else to remain in full force and virtue.
