Deed - John W.Temple to William T.Temple (Deed Book 28, page 481, Prince George County,VA.) This Deed made this eighth day of June in the year one thousand eight hundred and seventy, between John W.Temple of the County of Prince George and State of Virginia of the first part and Wm.T.Temple of the said County and State of the second part, witnesseth; that in consideration of the sum of one thousand five hundred and twelve dollars by said William T.Temple, the said John W.Temple cash in hand paid before the execution of this deed, the receipt of which sum is hereby acknowledged, the said John W.Temple doth grant with general warranty, unto the said Wm.T.Temple, and his heirs forever, the folowing property to wit: a certain tract or parcel of land, lying in the County of Prince George and containing four hundred and thirty two acres, be the same more or less, with the following boundries to wit: On the North by Lee's and Ambrose's mill pond and Warwick swamp; On the East by land of William T.Temple; South by the land of William T.Temple, Benjamin Figg, the tract formerly owned by Theodorick, the tract owned by the children of Freeman E.Leath, and by Andrew J.Temple, And on the West land formerly owned by Austin Heath. Witness the following signature and seal. John W.Temple (Seal) In the Clerks Office of Prince George County Court 14th July 1870. This deed from John W.Temple to Wm.T.Temple was this day acknowledged by the said John W.Temple to be his act; and admitted to record.
