In the Name of God, Amen, I John Bell being of perfect memory and Remembrance, praised be to God, do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form follow viz. First I bequeath my Soul into the hands of Almighty God my maker, hopeing that through the meritorious death and passion of Jesus Christ my only Saviour and Redeemer to receive free pardon and forgiveness for all my Sinns, and as for my Body to be buried in Christian Burial at the discretion of my Executor hereafter mentioned. Item. I give unto my Son James Bell, my Horse and Sadle. Item. I give unto my Grandson James Bell, one Large Brass Kettle, a Cow & Calfe, two Large pewter Dishes, six pewter plates, one warming pann, and one Bedd and Furniture. Item. I give unto my Grandson John Smith, one bedd and Furniture, two pewter Dishes and one pewter Bason. Lastly. I do appoint my Son James Bell to take care of my wife Ailce Bell, so long as she shall live, if she be willing to live with him, and do make and ordain my aforesaid Son James Bell, whole and sole Executor of this my Last Will, hereby revoking all former Wills by me made, as Witness my hand and seal this 28th day of in the year 1720.
