In The Name Of God Amen. I Brian Farrell of Prince George County being 
very sick and weak but of sound mind and memory do make and ordain this 
my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following. 
First and principally I commend my soul to Almighty God my creatour 
stedfastly trusting to his gracious acceptance thereof through the 
merrits and mediation of my Redeemer Jesus Christ. And for the worldly 
Estate which God in his Bounty has graciously given me I hereby Dispose 
of as followeth, after my just Debts and funeral Disbursements are pd. 
and Discharg'd. 
Imr. I give and bequeath to my Loving wife Elizabeth Farrell the 
plantation whereon we now live for and During her natural life and all 
the rest of my personal Estate here or elsewhere of what kind so ever 
as also my plantation lying on a swamp called Spring Swamp on the other 
side Nottoway River for and During her natural life and after her 
Decease I give the said plantation to my son Hubbert Farrell and to his 
heirs. And I do also make my said wife my whole & sole Exr. of this my 
Last Will and Testament hereby adnulling and making void all other Will 
or Wills by me made or declared, and this only to be taken for my Last 
Will and Testament, as witness my hand this thirty first Day of July in 
the year of our Lord 1716.

Att a Court held for Pr.George County on the second Tuesday in October 
Anno 1716. Being the ninth Day of the said month. 
The above written Last Will and Testament of Bryan Farrell Dec'd. was 
presented into Court by Elizabeth his relict and Executrix therein 
named who made oath thereto and it being proved by the oaths of Travis 
Morris, Richard Bishope and Robert Hall witnesses thereto is admitted 
to record, and a Certificate accordingly granted the said Executrix for 
obtaining a probate in due form.
