         MARRIAGE LICENSES --- PRINCESS ANNE COUNTY.
             Transcribed by Edward W. James.
     During the War, the records of Princess Anne Co., Va.,
were carried to Norfolk for safe keeping, and after the War re-
turned.  The following are abstracts from all of the marriage 
bonds ante-dating the year 1751, now to be found in the Clerk's
office of the above mentioned County. (6)

(1) Cornelius Calvert's marriage bond is mutilated and the lady's
surname is missing, but a deed of about the same period shows that she
