Administracon Jno. Basnett.
To all to whom &c; I William Cornick send greeting &c: Whereas John Basnett 
late of this Colony decd., did by a noncupative will give pte of his Estate to 
his daughter Elizabeth & his sister Mary, and his relict Ruth Basnett in care 
of his estate hath made humble suite to the Court that a comission of admeacon 
be granted her on the said Estate.    Now know yee that I the sd William 
Cornick by virtue of his Excellcy. comission bearing date the 7th May 1695; 
and according to an order of Princess Anne County Court bearing date the 3rd 
March 1696-7. for the better ordering & securing the said estate doe give and 
grant unto the said Ruth Basnett the Administracon with the noncupative will 
annexed of all & singular &c.  And do by the pesents order & appoint that the 
sd Ruth Basnett shall pesent &c; and further that the satisfied & pay &c; and 
after such debts are paid &c; and deliver the same &c; Given under my hand and 
seal this 16th day of June, Annoq. Dom 1697.  William Cornick, (SEALE)
