One small headstone, the face somewhat deteriorated, reads [I].N. on top of the stone. Another small stone, maybe a foot stone for the one above or another grave, possibly reads [L]. R. G. Fenced in with metal tubes is another small stone whose face is also worn away. On the other side of the area, still standing and in good contition (this is the one that caught my eye) is a stone that reads: Mitchell Patterson Born Aug. 28, 1859 Died Apr. 17, 1893 Down and broken but with inscription still in good condition, another stone reads: Emma Patterson Born Feb. 28, 1861 Died Aug. 22, 1886. Down, broken, and with small pieces missing is another Patterson headstone. I was able to trace the letters with my finger to read them: John S. Patterson Born Nov. 8, 1872? (not sure of the 2) Died Aug. 22, 1866? (not sure of the 6) Further away, I found a stone that was down and broken in pieces. Mostly worn away, I couldn't even trace with my fingers the letters that were still there. I lifted one of the pieces to see if there were words on the other side. It was infested with ants. I have a feeling this may be another Patterson stone because of the location. There may be other headstones there but the area is overgrown with vines and briar bushes. ==================================================== END OF FILE
