Lynn & George Carney are held and firmly bound unto James P. Preston Governor of Virginia and his successors for the use of the Commonwealth in the sum of one thousand dollars to which payment well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves and each of us our and each of our heirs Exors. & Adors. Jointly and severally firmly by these presents sealed with our seals and dated this 5th day of October 1818. The condition of the above obligation is that whereas the above bound Geo. Copin was on the 7th Sept. last past appointed by the County Court of Prince William a Commissioner of the revenue in the said County in the District below Cedar Run and Occoquan for one year. Now the Condition of the above obligation is such that if the above bound George Copin shall duly and faithfully perform the duties of his said office of Commissioner of the Revenue for and during his continuance in Office then the above obligation to be void else to remain in full force. Norman and Alexander Keyes are held and firmly bound unto Jas. P. Preston Esq. Governor of Virginia and his successors for the use of the commonwealth in the sum of one thousand dollars to which payment well and truely to be made we bind ourselves and each of us our and each of our heirs Executors and Administrators jointly and severally by these presents sealed and dated the 4th day of October 1819. The Condition of the above obligation is that whereas the above bound Geo. Copin was on the 6th day of Sept. 1819 appointed by the County Court of Prince William A Commissioner of the revenue in the said County in the District below Cedar Run v. Occoquan for one year, Now the condition of the above obligation is such that if the above bound Geo. Copin shall duely and faithfully perform the duties of his said office of commissioner of the revenue for and during his continuance in office. Lynn are held and firmly bound unto Thomas M. Randolph Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia and his successors for the use of the Commonwealth in the sum of one thousand dollars to which payment well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves and each of us, our and each of our heirs Exors. & Adors. Jointly and severally firmly by these presents, sealed with our seals and dated this 4th day of December 1820. The Condition of the above obligation is such that whereas the above bound George Copin was at a Court held for Prince William County on the 2d. day of October last past, appointed Commissioner of the Revenue for the said County - Now if the sd. Geo. Copin shall duly and faithfully perform the duties of his said Office of Commissioner of the Revenue during his continuance therein, then the above obligation to be void else to remain in full force and Virtue.
