These electronic pages cannot be reproduced in any format for profit or other presentation. --------------------------------------------------------------- MICHAEL LYNN'S WILL Prince William Co., Virginia Will Book I, page 360 Will dated 27 April 1805; Probate date 7 Dec, 1807 In the name of God Amen the 27th day of April 1805 I Michael Lynn of the County of Prince William and Commonwealth of Virginia being weake in boddy but in my proper sences do make constitute ordain and declare this my last will and Testament in manner and form following revoking and annulling by these presents all and every Testament or Testaments will and wills heretofore by me made and declare either by word or writing and this is to be taken only for my last will and Testament and none other, and now for settling my temporal estates and such goods Chattells and Debts as it hath pleased god fare above my deserts to bestow upon me. I do order give and dispose the same in manner and formes of allowing that is to say first I will that all these debts and dues as I owe in right or conscience to any person or persons shall be paid in Convenient time after my Deceas By my Executors hereafter named. Item I give to my beloved son Mosses Lynn one hundred acres of land where Jesse Calvert formerly lived on itm I give to my beloved sun John Lynn the remainder of land where I now live on Item I give my Negrow woman Nell to my beloved Daughter Elizabeth Arnell. Item I give Negrow Sam to be Equally divided between my two suns Mosses Lynn and John Lynn. Item I give to my Daughter Jene Coppen five pounds. Item my desires are that all the rest of my property be Equally devided between my three Daughters Elizabeth Arnell and Barbery Burn and Jene Coppen, I do apoint my sun John Lynn and Moses Lynn my Executors. Test MICAEL ["x" his mark] LYNN JOHN MATTHEWS WILLIAM ["/" his mark] CORNEWELL BARBERY ["C" her mark] CONWELL At a Court held for Prince William County December 7th 1807 this last Will and Testament of Micale Lynn dec'd was presented to the Court and being proved by the Oaths of John Mathews and William Cornewell was ordered to be recorded. And John Lynn one of the Executors named in the last will and Testament of Micale Lynn dec'd came into Court and made Oath to the same according to Law and having taken the Oath of an Executor and performed what is usual in such cases Certificate is granted him for obtaining a probate thereof in due form. Cur MOSES LYNN'S WILL Prince William Co., Virginia Will Book R, page 436 Will dated 3 March 1868; Probate Date 4 May 1868 Prince William County State of Virginia This Will made on this third Day of March in the year one thousand eight hundred and sixty-eight. This being my Last will and testament and I now being in sound mind I will to my Beloved wife Elizabeth Lynn one third of all my personal property and the balance of my personal property is to be sold and equally Divided between my son William and my Daughter Polly Smith, my son James and my grand son Robert Lynn and Elizabeth Steadman and my son Isaac Lynn and Andrew J. Lynn and Leroy Lynn. I also will that my wife Elizabeth Lynn shall have the use of all my land and real Estate for her support during her life time and at her death I will all my land and real estate to my son Ezekiel Lynn. I appoint my son Ezekiel Lynn administrator of my Estate. MOSES ["x" his mark] LYNN Signed in presence of A.J. DAVIS ROBERT LYNN as witnesses At a Court held for Prince Williaim County the 4th day of May 1868. This last will and testament of Moses Lynn deceased was this day produced in Court and proved by the oaths of A. J. Davis and Robert Lynn subscribing witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded. On motion of Ezekiel Lynn who made oath thereto as an Executor according to law and together with A. J. Davis and Thomas Clarke as his securities who testified as to their sufficiency entered into and acknowledged above in the penalty of one thousand dollars conditioned as the law directs letters testamentary of the estate of the decedent and granted him in due form.
