William Whitledge will 1782 Prince William Co. Va. Will Bk. G p. 170-172 William Whitledge will 1782 In the name of God amen. I William Whitledge of Prince Wm. County being in perfect memory do make constitute and appoint my last will and testament in manner and form following viz. Imprimis &c I give and bequeath to my son William Whitledge all the lands I am in possession of all my right title and interest to any lands whatsoever to him and his heirs forever also I give to my son Wm. Whitledge Negro Henry and Roger. I also the whole of my stock of cattle sheep and hogs to him and his heirs forever. Item I give and bequeath to my daughter Siby Grant Negro Lucy and Jim during her natural life with their increase to her and then for to be equally divided amoungst her Children John and Mary, William Daniel and Porsey ? Grants and also to them unborn to them and their heirs forever. Item I give and bequeath to my Daughter Frances Overall negro Ben and negro nell during her natural life with their increase to her and then for to be equally divided amongst her Children William and Parthenay, Fanny, Caty, Harrison, Thompson, Nathaniel, Saley, John, Thomas and Robert Overall and also to them unborn to them and their heirs forever. I tem I give and bequeath to my grandson Baldwin Coppedge negro Suck with her increase to him and his heirs forever. Item I give and bequeath to my Granddaughter Frances Coppedge negro Jane and Sall with their increase to her and her heirs forever. I also give two hundred pounds that I left in the hands of William Coppedge for to be Equally divided to Baldwin and Frances Coppedge when of age to them and their heirs forever. Item I give and bequeath to my grandson Overall Whitledge my gray mare and Colt with their increase to him and his heirs forever also one feather bed, Bedstead, hide and Furniture which I now lay on two Cows and Calves two sows and pigs to him and his heirs forever. Item I give and bequeath to my grandson John Grant on Feather Bedstead hide and Furniture to him and his heirs forever. Item I lend to my Sister in law Caty Allen one feather jBedsteade Hide and Furniture that she now lays on During her natural life after her death for to be returned in the Care of Wm. Whitledge for my Grand Daughter Frances Coppedge when married or of age to her and her heirs forever. Item I give and bequeath to my sister in law Caty Allen five pounds in specie money out of my last crop for to be paid by my exr. Before the Devision of this my last crop. Item my will and Desire is that my Estate not before mentioned in this my last will be divided as followeth Except mill stones and Irons which I give my son william Whitledge before to him and his heirs for ever . Vz. Two fifths to my son William Whitledge one fifth to my Daughter Sibey Grant one fifth to my Daughter Frances Overall one fifth to my two Grand Children Baldwin and Frances Coppedge to them and their heirs for Ever. Item my Will and Desire is that my Just Debts be paid out of my Last Crop and if there shall remain any balance that then such Balance be Divided amoungst my Children and two grandchildren Baldwin and Frances Coppedge & c. William, Sebey and Frances two fifths to Willliam Whitledge one fifth to Sebey Grant one fifth to Frances Overall one fifth to Baldwin and Frances Coppedge to them their heirs forever.
